David Dyjack, DrPH, CIH, associate dean for public health practice, School of Public Health, provided the keynote address for the Fifth California Inter-County Annual Hepatitis C Task Force Conference convened April 7 and 8 in Riverside.

The conference focused on health care issues related to the 350 million individuals infected worldwide, with special emphasis on the 2 to 4 million suffering from hepatitis in North America. In keeping with the conference theme—partners facing the challenges—Dr. Dyjack offered insight into the opportunities and risks associated with partnering with diverse communities both at home and abroad.
