PossAbilities members take in exciting Sixty-Sixers game

Members of the PossAbilties program took in a San Bernardino Sixty-Sixers baseball game on Thursday, June 8. 

They were guests at Arrowhead Stadium on IEHP Night and were treated to hot dogs, ice cream, and sodas, as well as an exciting game with the home team winning after scoring eight runs in a seventh-inning outburst.

PossAbilities provides social as well as recreational opportunities for people with permanent disabilities and is part of the LLUMC Rehabilitiation, Orthopaedic, and Neurosciences Institute. Says Michael Jackson,  MPH, East Campus administrator and founder of PossAbilities, “We want to encourage well-being that extends throughout people’s lives.”

The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is the major sponsor of PossAbilities. IEHP also provides financial support.
