Office of diversity newsletter promotes cultural competence in customer care

The Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center office of diversity currently is producing a newsletter that serves Loma Linda University and Loma Linda University Medical Center by promoting culturally competent customer care.

Under the direction of Leslie N. Pollard, PhD, DMin, vice president for diversity, LLUAHSC, each Diversity FYI publication is dedicated to highlighting best practice news within and beyond the Loma Linda environment.

“Each news note, vignette, story, or anecdote is intended to highlight current practices that reflect diversity consciousness or competency,” Dr. Pollard says.
