Teacher of Children’s Hospital patients wins recognition Lee Anne Reynolds Gridley
Lee Anne Reynolds Gridley, who teaches patients at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, won recognition with a regional Teacher of the Year Award from the San Bernardino County superintendent of schools. The certificate of excellence recognizes her outstanding efforts in alternative education.
“I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least,” says Ms. Gridley, who is quick to point out that even though her award is for regional teacher of the year, it is a local award. “It is a really big honor to be recognized by your colleagues who know the nuances of the profession,” she continues.
The award was given to Ms. Gridley on Monday, June 12, at an awards dinner held by the San Bernardino County superintendent of schools.
