SAHP professor named to California’s Respiratory Care Board

Charles Spearman, MSEd, RRT, assistant professor of cardiopulmonary sciences and respiratory care, School of Allied Health Professions, Loma Linda University, received a letter dated June 28, 2006, appointing him to serve on the Respiratory Care Board of California.

The letter from the California legislature senate rules committee and signed by chair Don Perata, a senator from Oakland, reads: “I am pleased to let you know the senate rules committee has appointed you to serve on the Respiratory Care Board of California.”

Mr. Spearman’s term on the board will end in 2010.

Senator Perata’s letter concludes, “I appreciate your willingness to serve.”
