RONI announces changes in medical leadership structure
Austin Colohan, MD, has been appointed medical director of the Loma Linda University Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic, and Neurosciences Institute (RONI), according to LLU Medical Center East Campus Administrator Michael Jackson, MPH. Dr. Colohan is also chair of the Medical Center’s newly approved department of neurosurgery.
In this new medical structure for RONI, Christopher Jobe, MD, chair of the department of orthopaedics, will oversee quality management for RONI, while Murray Brandstater, MD, will lead out in the areas of academics and research. Dr. Brandstater is chair of the department of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Family medicine department chair John Testerman, MD, will lead spiritual life and wholeness efforts at RONI. Wayne Dysinger, MD, chair of preventive medicine, will head efforts in that area for the Institute.
Mr. Jackson also announced that Mara McCarville is serving as executive director of the Loma Linda University Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic, and Neurosciences Institute.
In this capacity, she will work with Dr. Colohan and the department chairs on all aspects of RONI’s service at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital, East Campus, and ambulatory facilities.
