Students to present conference with SST professor to speak on wellness

Learn how to avoid rushing through any season of life during a conference presented by the Loma Linda University Black Health Professional Student Association and Mt. Rubidoux Seventh-day Adventist Church. Speakers will share the secrets of enjoying each phase of your life’s journey.

The program will open with the topic “Fall Back to Basics” on Friday, October 20, at 7:00 p.m. The next three sessions will be all day on Saturday, October 21, starting at 10:00 a.m.: “Fighting the Winter Blues,” “Spring Back to Health,” and “Summer and the Living is Easy.”

Speakers include Curtis Fox, PhD, associate professor, counseling and family sciences department in the School of Science and Technology at Loma Linda University; and Marc Woodson, senior youth director at the Southeastern California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

The event will be held at the Southeastern California Conference Center at 11330 Pierce Street, Riverside, California.
