The fields of nutrition and dietetics are exciting areas of study with excellent career opportunities in a variety of settings that are rewarding on many levels. You will learn to apply expert knowledge of food, physiological science and behavioral science to help solve problems of food excesses, inadequate intake, or food insecurity. Nutrition deals with the science of how the body uses food and its nutrients to full advantage; dietetics is the art of using food to make eating a pleasurable experience while providing maximum health benefits.
