Dr. Parbuoni is currently an Assistant Professor at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.  Originally from the Los Angeles area, Dr. Parbuoni received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California.  She then moved to the East Coast, where she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Parbuoni completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY-2 Pediatric Specialty Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Prior to coming to Loma Linda University, Dr. Parbuoni was the Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy and Investigational Drug Services at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) and practiced in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital.  At Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, Dr. Parbuoni coordinates and teaches in Clinical Pharmacokinetics and Special Populations.  Dr. Parbuoni’s clinical practice site is in Pediatrics at the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Parbuoni has been involved in residency training since completing her own residency, precepting PGY1 and PGY2 residents and serving as the Residency Coordinator for both the PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and the PGY2 Pediatric Specialty Residency for over 5 years at UMMC.  At Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, Dr. Parbuoni serves as the Residency Program Director for the PGY2 Pediatric Residency and also serves as the Residency Academic Coordinator for the Loma Linda University Residency Program.
