I firmly believe that teaching is more than a profession for me. It is a passion and a calling. It is being excited when a student actually begin to grasp the meaning of a concept, is able to apply it to their practice of social work, and is excited about helping others. It is a calling in the sense that we intend to further the healing and teaching ministry of our Lord.

Having the privilege of merging my religion and career affords numerous opportunities to witness how God works in our lives, and how he enables us to use talents he has give us. I hope at the end of my life to be remembered as one who sought to be of service to others, an encourager and mentor and role model.
