• EM Residency Curriculum and Outcomes Project Committee - This committee monitors changes with the ACGME "outcomes project" and implements any necessary changes to the EM program curriculum to meet the ACGME requirements. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Academic Advisory Group - Led by the department chair, this committee reviews departmental policies and practice environment issues that affect resident and medical student education while working in the Emergency Department. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Residency Leadership Exectutive Committee - This committee reviews and implements long term educational strategy for the Emergency Medicine residency. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Residency Leadership Committee - This committee, composed of attendings and resident physicians, reviews emergency medicine residency policy, and implements short term educational strategy and objectives for the Emergency Medicine residency. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Residency Well Being Committee - This committee reviews resident wellness issues and develops strategies to improve the resident morale. The committee monitors for signs of physician impairment. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Residency Promotions Committee - This committee reviews each residents progress in meeting the required goals and objectives. Residents are considered ready for promotion if this committee agrees the required goals and objectives have been met. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• EM Residency Recruiting and Selections Committee - This committee is devoted to recruiting and reviewing applicants for the EM residency program. Committee members use the EM residency selection guidelines to choose those applicants who best fit with the EM program and institution mission. ( 7/2004 - 6/2005 )

• Interdisciplinary Practice Committee - Committee worked on issues facing the medical center when accrediting non-physician health care providers such as Physician assistants, Nurse practitioners, etc. ( 7/2004 - 5/2005 )
