Advisory Board Chair and Consulting Physical Therapist - UCP/Wheels for Humanity, a non-profit humanitarian organization, which collects, refurbishes and distributes wheelchairs tio children and adults in disadvantaged parts of the world. She has personally served as their pediatric clinical specialist during rehabilitation outreach trips to Nicaragua, Costa rica, Ecuador, Vet Nam, Uganda and multiple trips to Mexico from 1997to the present. Teamwork Round Table: Yearly coordination and participation in a 2 hour clinical teamwork presentation and roundtable discussion for 2nd year MOT students. ( 10/2003 - Present )

I bring in a community-based occupational therapist and a community-based speech therapist. Together we have discussion on what it means to work as a team, define boundrys and come together to benefit the patient.

Biyearly outreach trips to Mexico - I take a group of students (6-8) to the Hospital Infantil de las Californias in Otay Mesa, Tijuana, Baja, California, Mexico in the spring and fall to fit wheelchair and other adaptive equipment to children and adults who have musculoskeletal and neurological impairments. We typically fit 70-90 chairs. This is sponsored by Wheels for Humanity. The students learn hands-on how to help people who have disorders they have heard about in their classes.
