Placement decisions for relatives with dementia (NINR R15 NRO 5306-01A2). 2002-07 ( 8/2002 - 6/2007 )
A longitudinal qualitative descriptive study that examines the decision making process of family caregivers and their involved health care providers when choosing institutional placement of persons with irreversible dementias. Analytical techniques include grounded theory and repeated measures ANOVA.
