• Attending faculty on student service learning mission trip to Managua, Nicaragua ( 6/2008 - 6/2011 )

  Community Service

• Calvary Presbyterian Dental Services for the Homeless - Clinical director and initiator of a volunteer effort to provide dental care to the homeless population of Riverside, California. Organize dental students and other volunteer dentists, coordinate treatment sessions and mobile dental clinics for emergency dental treatment. Provide palliative and urgent treatment to homeless patients twice each month in correlation with feeding programs. ( 10/2006 - 10/2011 )

• Mission Trip Leader - Nicaragua - Supervising dentist for a one-week mission trip to San Marcos Nicaragua. Supervised seven students providing care to more than 100 patients. ( 6/2007 )

• MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity) - Volunteer dentist and initiator of an effort to establish a MOU between an community outreach center and LLUSD to provide free dental care to the indigent population of the northeast San Fernando Valley. Currently act as attending faculty overseeing dental students in a clinical setting four times per year. ( 9/2006 - Present )

• SRHC (Student Run Health Clinic) - Provide dental screenings and emergency treatment during monthly health clinics sponsored by UCR's medical school to the homeless population of Riverside, CA. ( 6/2006 - Present )

• Compassion Clinic - Supervising dentist for student volunteers at a community health clinic, providing free monthly dental care (preventive and operative) to recovering addicts and recently released felons at the Sach Norton Clinic in San Bernardino, CA. ( 6/2006 - Present )

• Flying Doctors - Supervising dentist overseeing dental students in order to provide free oral surgery services to the indigent Hispanic and Native American population in the Coachella Valley, CA. ( 6/2006 - Present )
