  Research Interests

• I actively research families and locations involved or connected with my extended families, my husband''s extended families, and by request the families of friends and colleagues. I have collected census, property, vital, employment, and voting records, newspaper accounts, and obituaries from the U.S., Canada, Germany, Denmark, England, and Switzerland from 1700s through to current times. After I complete my dissertation presentations and publications based on the doctoral research, I will work on publishing family history research for selected portions of our extended families. I have recently obtained parish records from 1700s-1900s from multiple Danish ''''counties'''' and discovered additional family members from Canadian census records. My locality and family history research includes more than forty years of personal research and analysis. My ability to analyze primary and secondary sources has enabled me to provide corrected information for worldwide databases. ( 7/2008 - 6/2011 )

  Personal Interests

• I enjoy learning about new places, collecting information, and visiting new places. I continue to pursue research into regional historical materials of England, Canada, Germany, Denmark, and many states in the United States.   Hobbies
