• National Youth Leadership Forum - I directed the visit of high school students to the campus of Loma Linda University and coordinated presentations and visit to research labs on the morning of each of these days. The purpose of the National Youth Leadership Forum is to expose high school students to careers in medicine and biomedical research. There were 32-36 students that participated in each visit. • Honors and Awards committee - This committee discussed requirements necessary for Pharmacy students to receive various awards and honors to recognize them for the accomplishments they have made. A day that was set aside for students to receive honors and awards was planned. ( 4/2005 - 6/2005 )

• Task force on Plagarism - This task force was organized to instruct students on policies related to copyright infringement and plagarism. ( 3/2005 - 6/2005 )

• Assessment Committee - This committee addressed issues regarding the composition of the year-end assessment exam that is required of pharmacy students. ( 2/2005 - 6/2005 )

• Graduate School Committee - This committee was organized to discuss plans to develop a graduate program affiliated with the school of pharmacy. ( 2/2005 - 6/2005 )

• Admissions Committee - This committee evaluated the applicants to pharmacy school and established guidelines for determining those that would be accepted. ( 1/2005 - 6/2005 )

• Serve on the admissions committee for the summer research program sponsored by the Center for Health Disparities and Molecular Medicine ( 4/2010 - Present )

• Serve on dissertation committee for Angelique Ellerbee Richardson ( 7/2008 - Present )

• IMSD committee - The initiative to maximize student diversity (IMSD) committee meets periodically to assist in increasing the number of students pursuing graduate and medical degrees that belong to underrepresented ethnic groups. We meet to select students to participate in the summer research program. We host seminars for these students and provide them with guidance as they pursue research projects. ( 3/2006 - Present )

• Spiritual Life and Wholeness committee - The goal of this campus-wide committee is to enhance the spiritual development among students, faculty and staff at Loma Linda University. We are especially interested in incorporating the objective of 'making man whole' in the professional activities we are engaged in. ( 4/2005 - Present )

• Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International - This committee was primarily student run and addressed methods of enhancing spiritual awareness among Pharmacy students and Pharmacists. The goal of the committee was to enhance the Christian presence in the Pharmacy profession. ( 2/2005 - Present )
