• This was a training course for medical professionals who desire to do medical mission work in developing countries.  
• Addressed identification and treatment of tropical diseases such as malaria, dengue, intestinal parasites
• Learned how to purify water to make it drinkable and food precautions while traveling 
• Helped prepare the team leader to procure medicines, handle logistics, and set up mobile medical clinics

Rotated through different primary care clinics in East Los Angeles in pharmacist-run referral clinics seeing patients who primarily spoke Spanish
