Kathleen Clem, MD, FACEP is Chair and Chief of the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics within the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Dr. Clem received her MD degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine and served as Chief Resident at Loma Linda in 1993. Dr. Clem returned to Loma Linda to serve as Chair in 2007 after serving as the first Chief of the Division of Emergency Medicine at Duke University. While at Duke she started the Emergency Medicine academic and clinical programs. Dr. Clem is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She is married and has two children.
