  • She has three children, two are physicians and one has a PhD in biochemistry from Loma Linda University.  She has two granddaughters ages two and three years old. She claims her greatest accomplishment, through the grace of God, is her children and grandchildren who are solid Christians who put God at the center of their lives.       ( 10/2009 )

    Dr. Herring is a Pacific Union College trained registered nurse who completed her master''s at the University of Texas at Dallas, and her PhD in health education at Texas Woman’s University. Her dissertation was a study comparing the health beliefs and health promotion activities of Black and White women. She has been on faculty at Loma Linda University for nearly 14 years. ( 10/2009 )
