    California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP):California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP): Is the Cost of Beauty Putting Black Women at Risk? The IEAAWC Hair and Helth Study.: The Inland Empire African American Wellness Collaborative (IEAAWC) group is located in the Inland Empire (IE) region of Sothern California. This pilot study allows research team explores the potential role of hair product use in causing Breast Cancer in local African American/Black women.
  • The Effects of Consumption of California Dried Mission Figs on Serum Lipid Concentrations in Adults (California Fig Advisory Board).  This project studies the effects of regular ingestion of dried California Mission figs on serum lipid concentrations in adults.  Award amount: $180,000.
