• My vision of life as an educator and a scientist are in line with the Loma Linda University School of Medicine mission statement. I have always been a mentor as well as a teacher to my students. I see my knowledge of neuroscience as only one fraction of what I can offer them, and I can proudly say that I have consistently helped them to mature with a vision of life defined not only by narrow career goals but also by spiritual and intellectual growth that is part of a whole-person education.
