"Heroes of Emergency Medicine" recognizes ACEP members in each state, government services or those practicing internationally.  These physicians are recognized in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the American College of Emergency Physicians and specialized practice of emergency medicine.  These individuals have been cited by their peers for having made exceptional contributions to the specialty of emergency medicine, their community or patient care.
