PHTH 504: Pediatric Care (3 units)
Discussion and demonstration of physical therapy diagnosis, assessment and case management of clients with developmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and other developmental disabilities. Includes the presentation and demonstration of pediatric NDT, sensory integration, spasticity management, adaptive equipment options, as well as writing of realistic, measurable objectives. 2 hours lecture and 2 hours (3 sessions) weekly. Taught to MPT and DPT students.

AHCJ 443: Neuroanatomy I (4 units)
Basic anatomy and function of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous systems and related structures. Gross anatomy of the brain and spinal cord. Functional consideration of the cranial nerves, tracks, and nuclei of the major motor and sensory systems. Lecture and laboratory, with learning activities and specimens. This is a 4 unit course with 3 hours of lecture and 3 three hour labs weekly, taught to 65 - 80 MPT and DPT students.
