Cardiovascular Physiology
This series of lectures is given to freshman medical students as part of the Medical Physiology course. Lecture topics include the following:
(1) Electrophysiology of the heart/Normal EKG (1 hour)
(2) Hemodynamics (2 hour)
(3) Heart as a Pump/Cardiac Cycle (1 hour)
(4) Physiology of arteries and veins (1 hour)
(5) Physiology of the microcirculation (1 hour)
(6) Regulation of cardiac output (1 hour)
(7) Regulation of arterial pressure (1 hour)
(8) Physiology of coronary blood flow (1 hour)
(9) Integrated control of the cardiovascular system (1 hour)

Exercise Physiology
This is a 2 hour lecture that describes the multi-system effects of exercise. Highlighted are effects on the cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine, renal and GI function.
