01/07/ 2008, 01/16/2008, 01/30/2008, Prepare 14 - D3, D2 and DH (Junior) Students to avoid Culture Shock for the Dental Mission Trip in China during spring break, March 21-31, 2008. One hour each, total 3 hours.

Led 11 D3 Student Dentists and 6 Junior DH Students and two other instructors to join with other health professsionals for a four days Medical/Dental Free Clinic China Mission Trip at In-Tech Electronic Factory located at Shajin, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. Screened 1,171 patients. Patients treated: 1,021 pts; Amalgam (383); Composite (50); Extraction 214); Prophy (642); X-ray (54); Health Screening (1,022) and Health Lecture (1,113)
6/2006 China Mission Trip
Interactive teaching Led four faculties and six D4 and three Senior Dental Hygienist Students to serve needy people with free dental care in Beijing (New Day Foster Center and Lang Fang Middle School) and in Hangzhou (Dental Clinic, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital). Screened 205 patients; performed 144 Fillings (Amalgam & Composite); Extracted 77 teeth; 73 teeth cleanings; Mentoring, problem-based service learning with small group teaching, approx. 32 hours. Presented Dental CE courses to local dentists.
