Drayson Center Preventive Care Clinic

This clinic is for Preventive Care students to practice their skills on lifestyle assessment and counseling.
Interns are from the DrPH program in Preventive Care (LLU SPH), MPH in Nutrition, Health Promotion, Lifestyle Medicine ansd Master in Business Administration (LLU SPH), and from the LLU Medical School.

Health Assessments for global health students

This is a special lab class for the course GLBH 525, students learn how to make basic health assessments such as the sit and reach, body composition, hand grip and one mile walk.

1/2015 - 4/2015 Restructure of the curriculum of the DrPH program in Preventive Care
The Preventive care program is currently closed to new admissions. The plan is to open in the Fall 2013 after changes made in the curriculum and providing that new students have a clinical license to practice.
6/2013 - 6/2014 Master of Public Health in Lifestyle Medicine Online
Designed and modified the former course that was offered only face to face to an online version. This MPH is exclusive for students with a clinical background.

Designed a new certificate program called Certificate in Lifestyle Intervention totally online.

This is a non degree program for any people with a batchelors degree who want to have some skills in lifestyle related diseases and how to develop community activities to prevent those diseases.
