	9/2008 - 12/2008 Course Director for ODRP 726. Re-inforced what was taught in ODRP 725 as well as discussed patient consent forms. Taught how to go through the comp oral eval process step by step, presenting the treatment plan to the patient and discussed patient cases. I also provided virtual patient''''s for the students to work through. Finished the partner exams. Virtual patient cases that the students were able to work through on axiUm and in a chart. 7/2008 - 9/2008 Course Director for ODRP 725. The class teaches how to evaluate and work up medical problems, medications and vitals. How to go through an intraoral/extraoral exam and data collection as well as caries diagnosis. The proper way to work-up dental problems and how to put the purposed treatment into an integrated treatment plan. Used small group labs to go over patient cases as well as examinations on student partners. 3/2008 - 6/2008 Course Director for ODRP 735 the Dental Emergency course. Taught students how to handle  most dental emergencies from root canals to extractions in the pediatric and adult population. Learned how to write out prescriptions on a "prescription" style page. 9/2007 - 12/2007 Course Director for ODRP 726. Introduced evaluating and working up health histories, extraoral, intraoral exams, data collection, caries diagnosis and work-up of dental problems as well as putting the planned treatments into an integrated treatment plan. Having the students work on eachother as well as on virtual patients. 7/2006 Chief Complaint Discussed the importance of the patients reason for coming to see the dentist and how to address it. The lecture was for the Patient Assessment and Data Management course, ODRP 726 class. One hour lecture. 7/2006 Examination of the Dentition The lecture discussed what to look for in examining the patients dentition. What a cavity looks like and what the ideal treatment should be. Interactive Teaching
	6/2007 - 2/2007 ODRP Clinic Instructor Clinically supervised and graded the students ability to correctly diagnose and work-up their patients' on the clinic. 4-8 hours per week. 9/2006 - 10/2006 Partner Treatment Plan Review Interactive teaching in a clinical supervision setting. Helped students learn to do an extraoral/intraoral exam, diagnose decay on their x-rays and work-up their partner patients. There were approx. 90 learners over 11 clinic sessions for a total of 28 hours. 9/2006 - 10/2006 Ted Cavender Treatment Planning Case Was an instructor helping in a small group setting. Mentoring students with how to chart and work through a patient case. There were approx. 90 students in the class. Thirty students were mentored at a time. It took approx. 12 hours to complete.
