Instructional Prep of New Material
	6/2006 - Present Preparation for clinical use of Miniscrews This course was developed to provide understanding in the use of miniscrews for orthodontic anchorage. Models were developed that simulated the patient experience. Students measure from x-rays of the models for placement. Post x-rays are taken by student to evaluate placement accuracy. Course provides pre-clinical understanding and technique improvement for miniscrew placement. 6/2005 - Present Understanding microscrews and placement procedures Developed specialized models for training of placemet of miniscrews with radiopaque teeth in bone substrate for blind placement. Students were trained to use peri apical films for location. Screws are placed then secondary x-rays are taken to evaluate positioning. This is followed up with a similar exercise in drill positioning prior to screw placement.
