Specific emphasis placed on school-age learning in the areas of semantics, syntax, pragmatics, narrative, and phonological awareness. Language disorders in autism and mental retardation addressed. 10 lectures/30 lecture hours

1/2005 - Present	SPPA 567 - Clinical Practice in Speech-Language Pathology, Advanced Training in the diagnosis and treatment of communication delays/disorders in children with autism spectrum disorders. 2-3 learners per quarter; 5 hours per week/ 50 hours per quarter.
9/2001 - Present	Pre-Fall Speech-Language & Hearing Screening Supervision of graduate students performing speech, language and hearing screening in local private schools. Supervisor/student ratio is approximately 1:3. Total of approximately 20-25 hours.
1/2001 - 6/2006	SPPA 467 - Speech-Language Pathology Practicum Supervised training in diagnosis and treatment of mild articulation and language delays and disorders in elementary school age children. 3 learners are supervised each quarter for a total of 9 learners per school year. 5 hours of supervision per week/50 hours per quarter/150 hours per school year.

9/2004 - Present	SLPA 267 - Fieldwork Organize and match field supervisor to students holding Bachelor degrees in speech-lanaguage pathology or communication disorders and who have requested training as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Communicate with supervisors and observe students at fieldwork sites. Assign final grade to SLPA trainee.
7/2004 - Present	Undergraduate Inquiries Communicate with prospective students interested in the undergraduate program. Advise on general education requirements. Describe the overall program and make suggestions for preparation to enter.
1/2004 - 5/2006	SLPA 127 - SLPA Practicum Laboratory Coordinating and matching field supervisors to Speech-Language Pathology Assistant students at Crafton Hills College who are completing their final clinical fieldwork practicum. Communicate with supervisors and observe students in the field. Assign final grade.
7/2002 - 6/2005	SLPA Program Director Coordinate the SLPA program at Crafton Hills College. Recommend contract teachers to teach coursework in the program. Teach some of the coursework. Find clinical affiliations for the field practicums. Attend administrative meetings. Connect with local school district administrators and medical sites who are interested in training or hiring SLPAs.
