9/2000 - 6/2006 NRGS 544 Teaching and Learning Theory 2000-2006
Course Coordinator for this 3 unit course that explores the components of the teaching-learing process.  Content included: exploration of various theories of learning as they apply to a college environment and the clinical setting. Students were expected to: developed philosophy of teaching and learning; probe teaching and learning from the student perspective; study teaching techniques and learning outcome measures and have the opportunity to practice some teaching strategies.
9/1991 - 6/1993 Nursing Perspectives
This course introduced first quarter students to the history of nursing and current issues that nurses face.
3/1980 - 12/1990 Community Health Nursing
This 8 unit course introduced senior students to Public Health Nursing.  It included 4 hours of lecture and 12 hours of clinical in either San Bernardino or Riverside County Health Departments. The course prepared students for the PHN Certificate.
