This course includes: laws and regulations governing the practice of dental hygiene, with special emphasis on California regulations and standards of government regulations. Defines the obligations of the hygienist to the public and to his/her profession.

Lab taught during summer quarter of beginning of senior year. Focuse on how to intermix didactic learning into the clinical setting. Designed OSCE to evaluate the level of competence the Junior students had obtained before entering their Senior year in clinical practice.
