	7/2007 - Present AxiUm handbook Development of a handbook for the Periodontal faculty for use of the new computer sysytem-AxiUm. 7/2007 - Present AxiUm training for periodontal faculty Preparation of a handbook, instructional booklet for the periodontal faculty to be used for the new computer sysytem AxiUm. Several lectures with periodontal fqaculty, primary atending faculty regarding perio-AxiUm training. 3/2006 - 12/2008 Course development IDPP 759-Special Topics in Periodontal Therapy course. This course is re-designed to improve the knowledge of the students of the International Dentist program in areas of periodontology. The emphasis of the course is to introduce the basic elements of periodontology and concepts of periodontal disease, prevention and treatment in clinical settings in the USA. 1/2006 - Present Clinic Handbook revision As a Program Director I am actively involved in revision and restructuring of the Clinic Handbook that is published by the Department of Periodontics Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and is used by all our students at the clinic. 3/2005 - 12/2008 Revised Courses Complete revision of the teaching material regarding the topic of Periodontal Microbiology for two courses for the dental students (D2): the ODRP 501 (Principles of Microbiology, Dr J. Kettering) and Peri 705 (Introduction to Periodontics, Dr. C. Ririe). All the material covering the topic of Periodontal Microbiology was revised to eliminate repetition and to make the material flow through the two courses together. New teaching materials were used and the new approach was designed to implement clinical experience through out the teaching material thus improving both courses. All the material was then divided in three course lectures, 2 hours each (6 hours total) and lectured to the students. According to both course directors, this was helpful, eliminated the duplication of topics, improved learning efficiency and made the topic more clear and available to the students.
