9/2005 - Present Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE)
Precept 4th year pharmacy students in Internal Medicine/ Cardiology APPE rotations. Supervise students as they round with the cardiology team in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU - 4700 in LLUMC). Discuss patient cases, disease state management, drug knowledge with students daily. Require students to present formal case presentations and journal clubs. Precepted 10 students (40 hours/week per 6-week rotation).
