Responsible for two class meetings of 1 1/2 hours each in Dr. Sowers' course for first year basic sciences graduate students. Topics: NIH grant application process, what makes a successful research plan and application, and reducing a set of scientific questions to a research plan.

Maintain articles from professional sources on career development and job opportunities for graduate students completing MS and PhD degrees in the basic biomedical scientists. Post upcoming biotech career fair notices and how to prepare resumes/CVs. Board on first floor of Mortensen Hall across from elevator.
