Curriculum developed from the American Society of Transplant Surgeons program. PGY-4 surgery residents rotate for 7 weeks, and PGY-2 surgery residents rotate for 4 weeks. Training includes: surgical technique for liver, kidney, pancreas transplant; patient management; indications and contraindications; immunosuppressive therapy; anatomy; procurement. |
