1) Course Coordinator for undergraduate nursing course Health Promotion Across the Lifespan. Responsible for coordination of didactic and clinical instruction for a 4 unit class offered three times per academic year. 2) School of Nursing''''s liaison at the SACHS (Social Action Community Health System). Activities include; facilitation of clinical learning opportunities for nursing students, development of patient education activities, and collaboration with primary care staff on system and patient care improvement projects. 3) Coordination of an annual international clinical alternative to Nicaragua.

(In affiliation with Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC), Loma Linda, CA Functioned as director of 10 in-patient units in 400 bed hospital in collaboration with Chinese counterpart.  Served as liaison for LLUMC Nursing Division, communicating progress, needs assessments, planning, etc. for China Project.  Coordinated on-site short term assignments of western nurse specialists.  Served as resource specialist for clinical updates, educational materials, management systems, and programs.  Assisted with orientation, staff education, and quality improvement programs.  Facilitated communication with medical staff, foreign team, and interdisciplinary team problem solving.  Established and monitored nursing practice standards.

Pediatric Acute Care Nurse (June 1995 - June 1998)
Provided all levels of pediatric nursing care. Cross-trained to work postpartum obstetric unit.

Manager, 2nd Shift, Pediatric Unit (January 1995 - June 1998)
Coordinated patient care and supervised nursing staff for 40 bed unit. Responsible for conducting staff evaluations, hiring staff, assisting with departmental budgeting process, and coordination of community outreach health programs including Teddy Bear Clinic.
