Provide support to all nursing students to promote academic success.  Individual appointments are available to any student desiring assistance.  Workshops for incoming students are provided.  The Learning Assistance Program offers a one unit class, Strategies for Academic Success.  Exam analysis is offered to students wishing to improve their exam taking skills.  Train and oversee student study group leaders.

Responsible for 24 hour management of operations Labor and Delivery, high-risk antepartum, postpartum, and newborn nursery.  This includes management of 200 staff, hiring, firing, maintaining compliance with the requirements of regulatory bodies and managing the department budget.

Charge Nurse in Labor and Delivery.  Job responsibilities included patient care, shift coordination, scheduling and evaluations of staff on the pm shift.

Audited patient bills for insurance companies.  Reviewed medical records for documentation of services performed.

Provided occasional relief coverage for the school nurse.  Primary duties were triaging ill and injured children.
