Managed Care Research Analyst (January 1997 - June 2004)
County of San Bernardino, Department of Behavioral Health
As lead analyst within the Research and Evaluation section, produced many ad hoc reports regarding providers, clients, services, and costs for senior management and regional program managers. Provided utilization numbers and input during annual budgeting process. Prepared reports and maps for annual State Department of Mental Health Medi-Cal audits, with emphasis on utilization, quality improvement, and cultural competency issues.

Statistical Methods Analyst (August 1991 - December 1996)
County of San Bernardino, Department of Behavioral Health

Prepared and presented management reports, charts, graphs and maps for the Department of Behavioral Health and the Office of Alcohol and Drug Programs. Routine reports included monthly productivity reports (for individual clinical staff and clinics) and annual reports showing detailed demographics for unique clients served by each clinic and regional program. Prepared and presented monthly reports to the County Psychiatric Inpatient Quality Improvement Committee and served on other committees, including Managed Care Management Information Systems, Performance Outcomes, Research Review (primarily of MSW student projects), and Office of Alcohol and Drug Programs Strategic Planning and Master Plan Committees.
