Associate Professor (August 2002)
Loma Linda University

Served initally as department chair for the Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science Department and was promoted to Associate Dean for Assessment in July of 2007.  Teach in the classroom and oversee the assessment activities for the School of Pharmacy.  Serve as co-chair of the University Assessment Committee.  Hold responsibility for oversight of the Student Professional Organizations within the School of Pharmacy.


Associate Professor (July 2000 - July 2002)
Western University of Health Sciences
Served as a specialist in curriculum development and assessment.  Facilitated the foundation (skill development) blocks in the second year of the pharmacy curriculum.  Served on the University Assessment Subcommittee and the Working Group for Strategic Planning.  Chaired the accrediatation self-study for the 2001-02 academic year. 

Clinical Assistant Professor (June 1988 - May 2000)
University of Illinois at Chicago
Served this institution as both a clinican in the Rehabilitation Unit at the University of Illinois Hosptial and as an Academic Coordinator for the experiential programs within the College.  Deverloped and implemented an innovative laboratory based course for pharmacy practice.  In addition, developed and implemented a teaching rotation for fourth year pharmacy students. 

Assistant Director (February 1987 - June 1988)
Michael Reese Hosptial and Medical Center
Served as the Assistant Director for Quality Assurance and Staff Development.  Developed a new employee orientation program for both techniciqans and pharmacists.  Oversaw policy and procedure development and revision.  In addition, served as the primary preceptor for pharmacy students from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy.

Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy (December 1985 - January 1987)
University of Southern California
Served as first a staff pharmacist and latter the Director of Pharmaceutical Services for the Estelle Doheny Eye Hospital on the USC Medical Center Campus.  Provided both distributive and clinical pharmacy services to patients within this specialty hosptial setting.  In addition participated in both clinical and didactic teaching for students enrolled in the USC School of Pharmacy.
