Announcing Dr. Naomi Florea as the new Director for Experiential Education
by Shastin Rains, MA, and Stephen Vodhanel, PhD
As Director of Experiential Education, Dr. Florea plans to expand the clinical experiences offered at Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy, and develop programs focused on professional growth, networking, and recruiting opportunities.
Professional networking will highlight Dr. Florea’s efforts beginning with current PY4 students. As PY4 students move into pharmacy careers they will become valuable assets in providing new pharmacy students with new real-world experience.
Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy realizes the tremendous professional accomplishments of our alumni, and Dr. Florea is excited to have the possibility of working again with prior students who are now serving many capacities as Doctors of Pharmacy.
“I am thrilled that I have the possibility of working with my prior students, this is something very special to me,” said Dr. Florea.
In addition to her new responsibilities, Dr. Florea will continue with her teaching and clinical commitments in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science.
The entire School of Pharmacy is proud to have Dr. Florea as the new Director of Experiential Education.
