Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy (LLUSP) participates in PharmCAS (the Pharmacy College Application Service), a centralized application service for applicants applying to colleges and schools of pharmacy.
All applicants to Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy must file both the PharmCAS application and a LLUSP Supplemental Application.
Fall 2013 Filing Period
June 3, 2012 to November 1, 2012 through PharmCAS.
The deadline for completing the LLUSP Supplemental Application is 30 days after you receive the Supplemental Application invitation e-mail.
LLUSP Supplemental Application
After PharmCAS has processed your completed application and it is received by LLU, you will be sent an e-mail invitation with instructions on how to complete the online LLUSP Supplemental Application. The deadline for completing the LLUSP Supplemental Application is 30 days after the Supplemental Application invitation is sent to you. The LLUSP Supplemental Application is sent to all students who apply. Please note there is a $75 Supplemental Application Fee.
Submitting Letters of Recommendation
Use PharmCAS to submit a minimum of three letters of recommendation. It is recommended that two letters come from a science instructor and/or a professional in the pharmacy field. Committee letters of recommendation are only accepted from schools affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church and will fulfill the three letter requirement.
One letter of recommendation is required from a pastor, clergy, or spiritual advisor. This letter may be submitted directly to LLUSP through the online supplemental application if you choose not to send it through PharmCAS. All other letters of recommendation should be submitted directly to PharmCAS.
Reapplicants must submit at least one new letter of recommendation. Previously submitted letters of recommendation will be used for the current application cycle.
Submitting Transcripts for the PharmCAS Application
Official transcripts for U.S. students must be received by PharmCAS by the November 1, 2012 deadline. International transcript evaluations by a LLU School of Pharmacy approved evaluation service must be received by PharmCAS by November 1, 2012. Refer to the "International Students and Coursework" section below for approved companies.
Submitting Transcripts to LLUSP
If offered an acceptance, you must request official transcripts to be sent to LLU from all post-secondary institutions from which you have attended, regardless of whether or not it applies to your prerequisite coursework. This includes all colleges, universities, military credit, and unaccredited schools. Transcripts must be sent by the issuing institution(s) directly to LLU Admissions Processing. Transcripts provided in any other manner are unofficial and will not be accepted for purposes of admission. International students must submit all official U.S. and international (non-U.S.) transcripts to LLUSP by November 1, 2012. (Please visit international student admissions for more information.)
Please request transcripts to be sent to:

International Students and Coursework
Applicants who have done academic work in countries outside of the U.S. must have all prerequisite coursework completed at a two or four-year regionally accredited U.S. institution.
The approved academic record evaluation for foreign transcripts will still be required as supplemental material for evaluating the potential for success of that student.
