Loma Linda University (LLU) is a Seventh-day Adventist educational health-sciences institution with more than 4,000 students located in Southern California. Eight schools and the Faculty of Graduate Studies comprise the University organization.
More than 85 programs are offered by the schools of Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Religion and Science and Technology. Curricula offered range from certificates of completion and associate in science degrees to doctor of philosophy and clinical doctoral degrees.
Students from more than 80 countries around the world and virtually every state in the nation are represented in Loma Linda University's student body. LLU also offers distance education.
The School of Public Health, founded in 1967, is fully accredited and offers 50 programs of study ranging from baccalaureate to doctoral. The School's student body of 583 represents 33 faiths and 23 countries.
Since its inception, the School of Public Health has pursued its primary goal of educating public health professionals for service in local, national, and international settings. Values of compassion, acceptance, respect, equity, integrity, faith, and wisdom form the foundation for its various activities.
The annual Healthy People symposia are an outgrowth of the School's vision to maximize personal and community wellness, and its goal to develop reciprocal and sustainable community-academic partnerships that lead to research, practice, and teaching that are responsive to society's needs.
The conference will be held at the Drayson Center on the campus of Loma Linda University. Participants at the conference will have access to state-of-the-art physical fitness facilities at the Loma Linda University Drayson Center. The center includes hand and racketball courts, exercise equipment, swimming pools, and tennis courts.

The main conference parking will be at the lot on Benton & Shepardson. Shuttles depart the lot every 12 minutes.

Directions from:
10 Fwy:
Exit Anderson Street / Tippecanoe Avenue proceed south toward the University & Medical Center.
At the Anderson Street / Hill Drive / Mound Street stop sign, proceed straight to Mound Street and continue about 500 yards to Shepardson Drive and turn right.
Parking lot will be located on your left.
Shuttle service is supplied from the blue and white tent on the west side of the property.
Shuttles run every 12 minutes starting at 6 a.m.
Barton Road:
Proceed on Barton Road until you reach Benton Street, then turn left and proceed north past the VA Hospital.
The parking lot is located at the northwest corner of Benton Street and Shepardson Drive.
Continue past Shepardson Drive the entrance will be located on your left.
Shuttle service is supplied from the blue and white tent on the west side of the property.
Shuttles run every 12 minutes from 6 a.m.
Shuttle Service
On-campus shuttle service is provided free of charge to all faculty, students, employees, and event attendees.
This shuttle will deliver you to within walking distance of your event site.
Return shuttles will embark from the unloading site at the conclusion of you event.
Shuttles run about every 12 minutes from Shepardson to the School of Dentistry (and stop at the event location).
Parking Regulations
All parking lots and structures require parking passes except the Shepardson Lot.
Parking regulations are actively enforced by our Security Department.
Shepardson Lot is regularly patrolled by Security.
This lot is being supplied for your event use; please be safe and make sure you lock your car and do not leave valuables in your car or within public sight.
