Public health achievements in the past century have given Americans safer and cleaner homes, schools, workplaces, streets, parks, beaches, restaurants, transportation, hospitals, and more.
Many infectious diseases are under control. We recognize the health hazards of tobacco use. Infant and child mortality has decreased. And most of us can expect to live much longer lives than our grandparents and great-grandparents did.
But there is much left to be done.
Right now we are working on upgrading our classroom and expanding our global outreach. Learn more about our smart classroom project.
