The Community-Academic Partners in Service (CAPS) office serves as the main hub for all LLU students, faculty, and staff who want to serve and learn in the local San Bernardino community.
Serve locally in our local community while you study
Graduate study in public health is not just about what you learn in the classroom. At Loma Linda University, the Global Health program is committed to training students in service-learning projects in our local community, San Bernardino. The City of San Bernardino has some of the highest rates of unemployment, poverty, and rivals the needs of developing nations and calls upon students, faculty and our local professional community to use our resources, skills and knowledge to benefit our community.
Our program offers a unique balance between public health theory and practice as you study in the classroom and serve on teams with local partners to assess, design, implement and evaluate an intervention.
Your career begins here, while you study.
