Mission and Vision

Vision -- To effect positive and lasting change by motivating those with access to resources to invest in health and development programs that will make a difference in the lives of others.

Mission -- Promote poverty reduction, social progress and improved living standards by empowering communities through partnerships for health and development.

The Center for Global Partnerships integrates research and practice with Global Development.

• Research - The Center provides and supports a research and learning agenda reflecting the mission and values of the University as well as provides a forum for presentation of results. 

• Practice - The Center provides technical and financial support for graduate students to apply concepts learned in the classroom.

• Global Development - The Center connects those with an initiative for service with like-minded individuals who are able to successfully initiate and complete global development initiatives.
