Poster Presentations
Abstract submissions for poster presentations are now being accepted. Deadline for abstract submissions is July 2, 2012. All accepted abstracts will be presented in the October 1st poster session in Centennial Complex at Loma Linda University. Posters should support current evidence for prevention and/or effective strategies using geotechnologies to drive significant improvement in community health.
Posters will be categorized into the Top 5 Healthy Communities by Design Priorities listed below:
- Childhood Obesity
- Health Equity and Changing Demographics
- Transportation and Mobility
- Place-based Initiatives in Innovative Communities
- Creating and Redesigning Health Sustaining Environments

Submission Details:An application must be submitted electronically by 5 p.m. July 2, 2012 using the online application (link above). Decisions will be announced to applicants on or about July 15, 2012.

Submission of an abstract implies a commitment to attend the Healthy Communities by Design Summit poster session on October 1, 2012.
Poster Guidelines
Posters should be set in a horizontal format, no larger than 42” high and 56” wide. To increase readability and effectiveness of your poster, please review the Effective Poster Recommendations Guide. Handouts may be provided at the author’s discretion. No audio visual equipment is permitted for poster presentations.
Printing
