The Department of Nutrition has the following financial support for doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows.
The focus of this new Fellowship Program is the interrelation among food, environment and public health. It is specifically designed to investigate the impact of food production, processing, distribution and consumption on the environment and public health. [more information]
This scholarship is available to doctoral students and post-doctoral fellows interested in conducting research on the nutrition and health properties of walnuts. Recipients of this scholarship will have the opportunity to conduct secondary analysis of data already collected on previous studies for additional publications and to generate new hypothesis for research The Walnut Scholarship Program at Loma Linda University is funded by the California Walnut Commission. A scholarship for doctoral students interested in conducting research on vegetarian nutrition. Students will work under the supervision of a research faculty on a mutually determined area of research on vegetarian nutrition. [more information]
