The Department of Nutrition uses the science of nutrition and related disciplines to identify and solve nutrition-related health problems. Our web pages are designed to provide you with current information regarding our academic programs, faculty and staff, research, news, and our scientific investigations regarding tree nuts and vegetarian nutrition issues. Our students combine knowledge of nutrition science with competencies in education, behavioral science, management, and public policy to enhance the nutrition status of individuals, groups, and populations.
