| About the Instructor: Dr. Tonstad is a board certified physician whose keen interest in the integration of religion and science/health care led him to pursue a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies. He has practiced medicine and been a pastor at the Oslo SDA Church in his native Norway. Currently he holds faculty positions at both the LLU School of Medicine and the School of Religion. He has authored numerous articles and essay, as well as two books: "Saving God’s Reputation," published in 2006; and "The Lost Meaning of the Seventh-day Sabbath" in 2009. |
