Department of Psychology

Psychology's graduate program, PhD & MPH

Students who are interested in health psychology and areas related to healthcare promotion may choose a degree track leading to an MPH degree. In this case, 24 of the units in the doctoral degree program in psychology can be applied towards the MPH degree. These units for dual counting are determined by the corresponding program in the school of Public Health in conjunction with the psychology department. The remaining units for the completion of the MPH degree will depend on the specific area of public health (e.g., preventive care, health promotion, or health administration) and will be decided by the corresponding program coordinators.

For course listings, see the University Catalog in the chosen area(s) of emphasis.
